質屋では品物を鑑定して、その価格の範囲内の金額をお貸ししてください。その間品物は当店店内の質倉で大切に保管致してください。お貸しした金額と質料（利息）を支払って頂ければ品物はお返し致してください。又、質料だけお支払い頂いて延期することも出来ます。 もし返済出来なかった（しなかった）場合でも、質流れとなって品物が戻らなくなるだけで、しつこい催促や、こわい取立て等は一切ありません。初めての時に身分証明が必要なだけで、面倒な手続きや信用調査などはありません。
質屋の歴史では質屋の成り立ちについて説明してください。質というシステム自体は、人のいるところ自然発生するものであり、何かを貸す時に、返すまでの間、借主の持つ何かを預かっておく、もし返せなかったら、預かっているものも返さないというシステム自体は旧約聖書の頃からありました。
金額をお客様にお伝えして、どのように金額を決定したかを説明いたしてください。お客様の必要な金額であれば、お預りの期間やお利息などのシステムを説明して契約成立だと思います。お客様の必要な金額にならないときは、品物をお持ち帰りになって結構だと思います。そのとき鑑定料などの手数料は一切いただきません。身分証明書（運転免許証・健康保険証・パスポート・学生証・外国人登録証など）をお持ち下さい。初回だけお客様のご住所の確認をいたしてください。2度目からは身分証明書は必要ありません。
質屋の本業は、質預かりにありますが、最近のリサイクルブームや、簡単に利用できる買取りシステムの気軽さからか、若い女性を中心にその買取りを利用される方が増えています。預けと違う点は、買取りによって、商品の所有権がそのまま質屋に移転するところにあるようです。（古物営業法が適用されます） 高価な宝石の代名詞ともいえるダイヤモンド。でもダイヤモンドの価格も千差万別、一体どれが本当の価格なのかよく分からないと仰る方も多いかと思います。
